Main Purpose

We’re seeking a highly-organized, data driven, creative and energized Senior Researcher to lead our newly formed, centralized Marketing Research & Insights team at Indeed Flex, leading studies spanning Brand Health and Campaign Performance, Proposition Tracking, Audience Profiling, Jobseeker/Role Insights, Market Analysis, Client Insights, Competitor Landscape evaluation and Product (SaaS) Launch Insight.

Your efforts will directly drive business impacts and help us build value in our brand, partnering with marketing teams and stakeholders across the business to understand complex challenges and discover insights that can help us shape our proposition and communications.

The Senior Researcher would manage one direct report (Exec/Senior Exec level).

Responsibilities & Duties

Primarily in service of UK operations (with the potential to expand in to the US), design and deliver research and insights studies spanning Marketing and Sales disciplines, providing a fulfillment service to stakeholders (including Brand, Jobseeker Marketing, CRM, Digital, B2B Marketing) and best practice support to Product and Customer Success teams as/where necessary.

This role would include qual, quant and desk research, leveraging our Consumer Research Platform and delivering focus groups to tackle the following areas:

  • Brand Health and Campaign Tracking/Performance:
    • Quarterly studies examining brand recognition, perception and advocacy plus campaign tracking, optimisation and evaluation in partnership with media agency
  • Proposition Tracking
    • Evaluation of USPs and messaging
  • Audience Profiling
    • Analysis of audience profiles and support in database segmentation
  • Jobseeker/Role Insights
    • Analysis of Jobseeker demand and investigation by role, building a clearer picture of market influences and competition for recruitment
  • Market Analysis
    • Insights by location and by sector
  • Client Insights
    • Studies of client perceptions of brand/proposition/support with insights on product/service
  • Competitor Landscape
    • Evaluation of competitor activity, positioning, pricing
  • Product (SaaS) Launch Insight
    • Analysis of competitors in the market providing white label solutions


  • Relevant experience in conducting different aspects of qualitative and quantitative design research.
  • Resilience and excellent stakeholder management experience in a complex environment
  • Ability to present and have excellent communication skill
  • Experience of design research leadership and / or managerial experience
  • Skilled at planning, organising, prioritising, and executing simultaneous projects and activities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • A highly collaborative, self-starting attitude
  • A passion and interest in current technology and design trends
