The role is working in a busy kitchen, which feeds our tenants every meal time and sometimes their family and friends too! Cwrt Yr Orsaf provides a safe and homely place for older and vulnerable people to live as independently as possible. You will be the smiling face they see when they visit the dining room for a delicious and nutritious meal – and a good chat doesn’t go a miss either! Meal times are important to our tenants, it’s a time to relax and enjoy the company of other tenants, visitors and Linc Staff alike - after all, the fondest memories are made gathered around the table!
We’ll give you all the training you need, so please don’t be put off if you haven’t had a role like this before. You will have the opportunity to carry out a variety of kitchen duties from preparing vegetables to serving food and washing up – no two days will be the same. If you work in a ‘clean as you go’ way, this role will be perfect for you! Keeping the kitchen, dining room and equipment sparkly clean is important, don’t worry – we’ll provide the marigolds!
