An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join the Acute Assessment Unit in Jersey. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant with excellent communication skills and the ability to work using your own initiative as well as working effectively within a team.
Ideal applicants will understand the importance of patient centred care. The area is a fast-paced short stay unit comprising of 20 acute admissions beds and an additional 5 Enhanced Care beds, delivering level 1+ care to patients requiring NIV, Cardiac monitoring and needing close observation.
We work closely with the Emergency Department and take direct admissions with various medical conditions from outpatient clinics, GP surgeries and other specialist areas needing immediate patient assessment and interventions.
Despite being a fast-paced medical environment, successful applicants can guarantee they will gain a wealth of experience in acute medicine, with excellent opportunities and support for development.
